Terraria - Build, discover, and fight in Terraria!

The Worldwide Phenomenon

Since the success of sandbox giants like Minecraft, many games have tried to adopt its fascinating gameplay and develop it further with their own ideas.
Terraria stands out in particular, which transforms the world into a 2D dimension with appealing 16-bit graphics and focuses more on combat and exploration. There is a wide range of weapons and other equipment needed to fight the numerous monsters and bosses.
As in Minecraft, every block in the game world is destructible and can be used to build creative structures.
However, the true potential of the game is only revealed when you team up with one or more friends and explore the randomly generated world together.

Terraria in constant change

Since its initial release in 2011, the game has been constantly developed and regularly receives updates and improvements. For example, on the ninth anniversary of the game on May 16, 2020, the "Journey's End" update was released, which again boosted the global player base and proved the longevity of Terraria.
Journey's End adds new game modes, items, effects and creatures to Terraria, among other things, and represents the highlight so far in the history of Terraria.
If that's still not enough, you can take a look at the large selection of modifications and extensions created by the community that can completely change the game.

A game for all interests

Due to its enormous freedom and ways to experience the game, Terraria is something for almost everyone.
Whether you're more interested in building and exploring or merciless action, Terraria doesn't give any guidelines and leaves every player free to play as they want.
It's practically never boring, because the always different world, the developers' updates, or the modifications of the fans keep the game feeling unique even after years.

More from the Terraria developers

If you're interested in Terraria, you might also like "Pixel Piracy", which was also developed by Re-Logic.
Although Pixel Piracy is nowhere near as successful as Terraria, it looks very similar to Terraria with its pixel look and is especially appealing to real-time strategy fans.
