The Terraria 1.4.5 Update brings a breath of fresh air to the game
The Terraria 1.4.5 Update is getting closer and developer Re-Logic is sharing its progress for August 2023, with new Jojo accessories, furniture, and music.
The Terraria Update 1.4.5 keeps getting better every time we see it, and the latest news from Re-Logic about what could possibly be the final major patch for one of the best sandbox games is getting me very excited.
New Content in the Terraria 1.4.5 Update
Among the revealed details about Terraria 1.4.5 are a very cool trick for the game's yo-yos, some stylish furniture, and a fresh set of absolutely amazing melodies for battling some of Terraria's biggest and best bosses.
Music by Scott Lloyd Shelly
One of the main highlights is a set of new music tracks by beloved Terraria composer Scott Lloyd Shelly, and Re-Logic notes, "We won't rush Scott as he works on the latest in a long line of Terraria musical masterpieces." The first of these, a track for the Twins boss battle, can be heard below.
Update Delay
"So, this means the update will take a bit longer than we originally anticipated," it adds. While that's a little sad, it's actually good news - and not just because the Starfield release date and Baldur's Gate 3 mean we're already overloaded with games.
More Goodies in the Terraria 1.4.5 Update
Re-Logic further explains, "Now, before anyone gets too upset... the team realized we were going to have to wait for this music anyway, so why not just let the update development on our end continue and add even more goodies?!"
Aetherium Furniture Set
One of these goodies is a set of shimmer-themed Aetherium furniture in dazzling shades of purple - perfect for your base or your own little shimmer biome.
Magic Yo-Yo Bag
But the most exciting news, however, is the addition of a new item - the Magic Yo-Yo Bag! This new tool will make your yo-yos bounce in all directions when released - a great addition for all yo-yo fans in the game!
