The best Bundesliga tips

The new Bundesliga season starts in a few weeks. We have already thought about how the coming season could go. Many top teams have upgraded or at least kept their squad together. This should make the new season exciting. In the second half of the table and at the bottom of the table, fans can look forward to close and interesting games. This results in many surprising Bundesliga tips, which we will introduce here.

The Fight for the Title

Borussia Dortmund has strengthened its squad in recent weeks. The club has brought on board some key performers. New to the Borussia are, among others, the central defenders Süle and Schlotterbeck as well as the strikers Adeyemi and Haller. BVB has successfully reduced the gap to Bayern Munich at first glance. Leverkusen was also able to make some good transfers and keep the squad together to a large extent. The hunt for the title should therefore be exciting. But is it worth betting against FC Bayern Munich?

We assume that FCB will also win the championship next season. The record champions have strengthened themselves well. You should use the current weakness of Bayern at the bookmakers. Because even if Robert Lewandowski should leave FCB this summer, Bayern Munich will most likely win the championship at the end of the season. The pursuers have become stronger, but FCB remains the clear favorite. From our point of view, FC Bayern Munich is the safest bet for the upcoming season on table position one.

The relegation battle

Unlike last season, there is no clear favorite for relegation this year. Last season it was clear to all observers and fans that Greuther Fürth would be relegated directly - which is how it ended in the end. This year the situation is not quite as clear. Schalke and Bremen are automatically among the teams that will come into contact with the relegation places as promoted teams. But will the two promoted teams leave the Bundesliga again immediately? Not necessarily! Both teams bring stability and quality that could help them succeed.

So the relegation battle is open. It will be interesting to see which teams are relegated directly. Every game seems to count. Also Hertha BSC Berlin, Stuttgart, Augsburg and Bochum could land on the lower table positions. Two of these six teams will be relegated from our point of view at the end of the season. Our tip is that Stuttgart and Schalke will not be able to prevent relegation. On paper, the two teams have the weakest squad.

The Top Scorer

For the title of top scorer of the upcoming season there are two promising tips. If Robert Lewandowski surprisingly stayed in Munich, the Pole could score the most goals in the Bundesliga again. However, we assume that Lewandowski will leave the Bundesliga and move to Barcelona. This would mean that with Lewandowski and Haaland two of the three most successful strikers of the last season would have left the Bundesliga.

Then the race for the best striker would be open again. There are some players who could win this title. The favorites include the Leverkusener Patrick Schick, the new Dortmund Sebastian Haller, the Leipziger Christoph Nkunku and Sadio Mane from FC Bayern Munich. The favorite is clearly Patrick Schick, who was already the second best striker in the league with 24 goals last season. Our dark horse is however Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig. If the Frenchman is able to repeat or even improve the performances of the last season, he could actually secure the trophy as the best striker at the end.

The Champions League Places

Which teams will qualify for the Champions League alongside FC Bayern Munich in the coming season? In our opinion, this question is quite easy to answer. BVB will have no problem maintaining their place in the top four. Leverkusen and Leipzig are also not to be counted out of the first four places. It could even happen that the table situation at the end of the coming season is the same as at the end of the last season. This would mean that FC Bayern Munich will be champions, Borussia Dortmund will finish second, Bayer Leverkusen will reach third place, and RB Leipzig will be able to defend their fourth place. The only difference to last season could then be the points difference between the teams. We expect it to be much closer than it was a year ago.
