Striking Distance Studios was founded in 2019 and wanted to create its first big highlight with The Callisto Protocol. However, the now noticed and incomplete credits depress the image. As a rule, it is normal that people who leave the project before it is completed are not listed in the credits. GamesIndustry.biz meanwhile conducted an interview with five former Striking Distance Studios developers who, although they contributed valuable contributions to the game according to their own statements, were excluded from the game's credits. Separate sources estimate that approximately 20 people in various departments were excluded from the game's credits. The studio behind The Callisto Protocol has not yet reacted to the allegations and refused to comment after enquiry.
The way the credits are listed also shows inconsistency. For example, some developers were declared as "additional help", which undermines their work on the project.
