Diana Weng, CBO of the game's publisher MYTONA, as well as Fntastic founders Aisen and Ed Gotovtsev, took to the camera to reveal some of the key elements of The Day Before that are on show in the footage. The main focus of the discussion revolved around a shared area in the city where players can meet up with others, exchange supplies, and generally relax.
This sort of safe zone is commonplace in MMOs and looks to be a welcome respite from the tense survival environments that The Day Before will offer its players. The trailer also gives a glimpse of the beautifully appointed interior of a multi-story shopping mall, which is just one of the many environments that fans will be able to explore in the game. The game will also feature options for base building and weapon customization for players who don't want to be too restricted by the urban fortresses.

The trailer mentions the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S as platforms for The Day Before. Fntastic had previously expressed the desire to release the game on home consoles.
