Fntastic announced on Twitter that the Steam page of their game The Day Before is no longer available. The reason seems to be a naming rights situation. The developer confirms that when the game was announced, the name The Day Before was available as a trademark. Shortly after, they tried to register this name with the US Game Trademark Register.
On January 19, 2023, confirmation came that Fntastic had not obtained the rights to the name. The company inquired about the reasons and is now ready to find a solution - according to the tweet. The consequence of all this is that the release of the game has been postponed to November 10, 2023. Fntastic apologizes to the fans and thanks them for their patience. In addition, the company promises to deliver the best possible game and thus justify the long wait for the fans.
