A modder by the name of CaffeineSnake has released a new mod for the game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind on NexusMods. The mod, called "Morrowind Removed," removes the entire island of Vvardenfell from the game, providing a completely new experience.
Originally intended as a joke, the modder felt that players couldn't really play the original game. However, it turned out that it wasn't so easy to use the mod with the original game. An error message prevented its use.
Instead, the modder was only able to use the mod with the OpenMW source code port. It was noticed that interior spaces remained unchanged. After leaving the building, the modder suddenly found himself on the bottom of an ocean and eventually reached Solstheim.
Bloodmoon and Tribunal's content remains intact, however. Other mods can be used to remove this content and create a classic RPG sensory deprivation experience.
This amusing modification offers players a new way to experience Morrowind and is an entertaining change from the original game.
