The Festival of Horrors Returns!
This year's Witch Festival in-game event in The Elder Scrolls Online begins next Thursday, October 26th at 10am EDT and runs until Tuesday, November 7th at 10am EST. During this spookiest of occasions, you can claim terrifyingly awesome event-specific rewards, including loot skulls, XP boosters, event tickets, and more!
During the Witch Festival, all adventurers can enjoy a passive 100% XP boost at all times. To collect the Witchmother's Whistle and slurp down some Haggis, simply follow the steps outlined below:
- Open the Crown Store and grab the free quest "The Witchmother's Bargain".
- You can also pick up this quest by speaking to the Crow Caller located outside any Olvyn's Brewery in Stonefalls, Glenumbra, or Auridon.
- Complete the introductory quest to receive the Witchmother's Whistle tool.
- Blow the whistle to summon the "Witchmother's Cauldron" from which you drink to transform into a spooky skeleton.
Get Cursed Rewards
During the Witch Festival period, every time you defeat a boss monster, you will receive a Plunder Skull container in addition to the regular rewards. When you open a Plunder Skull, you have a chance to obtain the following items:
- Alchemy ingredients
- A festival-themed furniture recipe
- A festival-themed provisioning recipe
- A complete festival-themed furniture piece
- A festival-themed treasure
- A small chance at one of the following:
- A Hollowjack style item
- Dremora style items
In addition, every time you defeat a different unique boss for the first time each day, you will receive a special Dremora Plunder Skull, which contains some of the items mentioned above as well as the following:
- Dremora motif chapter
- A chance at one of the following items:
- A Witch Festival writ
- A Glenmoril treasure map or Glenmoril armor outfit style page
- NEW A page of the Grave Dancer weapon style
- NEW A runebox of the Book of Forbidden Desires
- NEW A fragment of the Witch Festival Spiderweb pet
- NEW A tradable outfit style page for the Crow Caller outfit
Monsters of all shapes and sizes lurk throughout Tamriel during this time of year, but there is one spooky beast that surpasses them all: The Crow Caller. To find and defeat this living nightmare, obtain the daily quest "Plucking the Crow" by speaking to the Witchmother Taerma, whom you can find at Olyve's Brewery and at any Impresario tent throughout Tamriel.
Impresario & Event Tickets
During the Witch Festival, you can collect two event tickets from the first boss you defeat each day and earn up to 26 tickets by the end of the event. But remember: You can only hold up to 12 event tickets.

- All three Passion Dancer Blossom pet fragments:
- Chartreuse Lily Petals
- Enchanted Silver Flute
- Mystical Sheet Music
- The first fragment for the Hoardhunter Ursauk mount:
- Blessed Honeycomb

- Witch Festival Spiderweb pet fragment
- Book of Forbidden Desires memento
- Various spooky Witch Festival-themed furniture pieces
- NEW Group Repair Kit
- Companion's Guild Recommendations (This is only purchasable if you haven't collected all the items contained within)
In addition, the Impresario's associate, Nenulaure the Indrik Merchant, has the following items on offer that you can purchase with event tickets:
- Nascent Indrik Feathers
- Pure Snow Indrik Berries
- Crimson Indrik Berries
- Frost-Light Indrik pet
- Rosethorn Indrik pet
Lastly, the Impresario's assistant offers the following items that you can acquire with event tickets:
