According to rumors, developer Naughty Dog is working on The Last of Us Part 3. The development is said to be the responsibility of Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann.
The new rumor source
The previous rumors were rather from dubious sources and thus anything but trustworthy. The new source, however, is said to have connections in the industry and has already passed on information about future games such as Crash Bandicoot 4. But the source also published information about the HBO series adaptation of The Last of Us in advance.
This very source has now announced that Neil Druckmann is working on The Last of Us Part 3 together with a team at Naughty Dog. The timing would make sense, as the series is due to air in 2023. The previous titles of the game series were also developed under Druckmann.
Until an official announcement, however, PC players can look forward to the reissue of the first part. Because on 03 March 2023 The Last of Us Part 1 will appear on Steam and Epic Games for the PC.
