Upon arriving at the last temple, you meet your mother and are anointed as a member of the Light Brigade. You will soon notice how the sun continues to darken. It brings with it the last hope of the people to free the souls of the dead before it is too late. As a member of the Light Brigade, it is now your duty to free the souls trapped in enemy territory. You must purify these souls to gain experience that increases your class rank. With the points you get, you can buy weapons and other abilities.
In the historical fantasy world of The Light Brigade - as the developers describe it - physics-based gunplay such as aiming, shooting and reloading of rifles, machine guns and pistols is intended to create a realism that feels incredibly immersive and tactile. In PS VR2, this creates intense shootouts that put you right in the center of the action.
