What is The Mageseeker?
The Mageseeker is an indie 2D high-bit pixel action role-playing game set in the popular universe of League of Legends. As Sylas, an escaped mage, you explore the world of Demacia and join a group of rebels in the deep forest. Immerse yourself in an exciting single-player hack & slash RPG with a captivating story and beautiful graphics.
Availability and Platforms
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is set to be released worldwide and will be available on various platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic, GOG). A Mac OS version is currently not planned. The next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are also supported.
Multiplayer Mode and Mobile Version
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is designed as a single-player 2D pixel hack & slash RPG and will not offer a multiplayer mode. Additionally, there are currently no plans for a mobile version of the game.
Riot Forge and Digital Sun
Riot Forge is a publishing label within Riot Games that collaborates with experienced studios outside of Riot Games to develop tailored games within the League of Legends universe. For The Mageseeker, Riot Forge has partnered with the multi-game studio Digital Sun, which has already impressed with the action RPG Moonlighter. The collaboration promises to deliver a successful combination of engaging story, interesting characters, and beautiful graphics.
Tutorials and Champions
To make it easier to get started in the game, tutorials are integrated throughout the game and can be accessed at any time through the menu. In addition to the main character Sylas, familiar supporting characters such as Lux, Garen, Morgana, Jarvan IV, and Shyvana will appear in The Mageseeker. Price and Editions
The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is not a free-to-play game. Riot Forge develops premium games with self-contained, narrative-driven content. The game will be available in various editions: Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Collector's Edition. The exact contents of each edition will be announced at a later date.
