An unknown fungal infection is spreading across Galatea. Spores of an aggressive species of fungus reach Ashley's base, causing chaos and destruction. In search of the source of contamination, Ashley discovers an ecosystem like she has never seen before - a massive swamp biome, home to numerous species of fungi, carnivorous plants, and animals. Although everything may seem vibrant and colorful at first glance, further investigation is needed to unravel the mystery of this endangered ecosystem.
New Technologies and Tactics
Exploring the flooded swamps of Galatea 37 will be a challenge. With limited space to work with, you'll need to rethink your tactics. Fortunately, there are many new technologies that can help, including buildings that can be placed directly on liquid pools! For example, the new Bio-Condenser allows you to convert mud into sludge, powering your base with gas energy. And new water-based towers will help protect your base and liquid pipelines from dangers.
Preparing for the Onslaught
Nothing is ever easy in The Riftbreaker, and the native species of the swamp biome won't be pleased with your disruptions to their habitat. So, you'll need to be prepared to defend yourself. Fusion power plants, protective generators, heavy artillery, and other endgame structures will help you survive the onslaught of the new creatures.
Constant Evolution
Since its release, The Riftbreaker has already gained a lot. The game has been updated with two new biomes, over a hundred new technology items, and dozens of new creature species. The third World Expansion will further increase these numbers.
