Total War: Warhammer 3 - New Gameplay Trailer

Total War: Warhammer 3 retains the Warhammer Fantasy setting, but finally lets the Chaos Gods march in full force.

It is the third game in the Total War: Warhammer strategy game series, was developed by Creative Assembly, and published by Sega in partnership with Games Workshop.

Total War: Warhammer is a subseries of the larger Total War franchise, a series that mixes real-time strategy battles with turn-based management mechanics.

The final part of the trilogy

Total War: Warhammer 3 will be the last game of the epic trilogy and will conclude the Total War Warhammer series.

The game will feature an unprecedented number of factions. While the two previous games each came out with four factions (without DLC), this game will have six factions.

Each of the four Chaos gods will get their own army, while the Tzardom of Kislev, which has long been a palette swap of the Empire and barely more than a sandbag, will now be a standalone kingdom. Even more amazing is that the mysterious eastern empire of Cathay is the sixth faction that will be available at launch!

Here are all of the new factions

  • Chaos Demons - Nurgle: Available at launch
  • Chaos Demons - Tzeentch: Available at launch
  • Chaos Demons - Slaanesh: Available at launch
  • Chaos Demons - Khorne: Available at launch
  • Kislev: Available at launch
  • Cathay: Available at launch
  • Ogre Kingdoms: Race Pack DLC

Each of the Chaos gods represents different aspects of evil. Nurgle is the god of pestilence, evolution, and disease; Tzeentch is the god of knowledge, intrigue, and deception; Slaanesh embodies lust, desire, and hedonism; and Khorne thirsts as the god of war for blood and skulls.

At launch, there will be nine Legendary Lords, spread across these six factions. Another faction, the Ogre Kingdoms, will be available at launch as DLC. Creative Assembly promises the Race Pack free for anyone who pre-orders Total War: Warhammer 3 or buys the game within the first week.

Several key features will be overhauled in Total War: Warhammer 3. The siege battles will get more depth and offer the defenders multiple walls and additional options. Diplomacy
