Train Sim World 3 - New routes, updates, and more!

Three New Additions to the Roadmap

The Train Sim World 3 roadmap has been expanded with three new points that are sure to excite you:

  1. The long-awaited Class 700/0: It's finally here! The eagerly anticipated Class 700/0 will be coming to the game this summer. The developers are currently working on some features, sound, and integration into the Southeastern High Speed schedule, but as soon as there is news, you'll hear it from us.
  2. Just Trains' first Train Sim World route: Our friends at Just Trains have announced their first route for Train Sim World. The British route is still a bit away, but the team is making good progress and promises exciting experiences on the rails.
  3. A new UK route: Another British route is also in the works. What exactly awaits us remains a secret, but we are already excited about the future revelations in the next roadmaps.

Updates to Midland Main Line and Peak Forest

But not only new things are in the roadmap, existing routes are also getting updates and improvements:

  • Midland Main Line: Leicester - Nottingham and Derby: The route developed by Skyhook Games will be released in April and is presented in impressive screenshots. Accompany the BR Class 158 and the legendary HST on a lovingly designed journey through the British railway landscape.
  • Peak Forest: Ambergate - Chinley & Buxton: The second steam train route in Train Sim World 3 is currently in development and promises a contrasting experience compared to the Liverpool-Crewe route. Look forward to a challenging steam train ride through the picturesque landscape of Derbyshire.

Upcoming Content and Patches

Future content and patches are also taken care of. Here's a brief overview of what to expect:

  • HST Livery Designer compatibility: The developers plan to bring this feature with the release of the Midland Main Line in April.
  • Peninsula Corridor and Oakville Corridor Baby Bullet Services: Both contents will be combined and tackled as soon as the developers have capacity.
  • TSW2 Preservation Crew releases: These extensive updates and improvements for older content are planned and will be released in the coming months.

Partner Program: Just Trains and TSG

Collaboration with external developers also plays an important role in the Train Sim World world. Find out here what Just Trains and TSG have in store for you:
