Welcome back to Travellers Rest
Hey, there you are again! Today, I have a lot of news for you about the charming innkeeping simulation game Travellers Rest. It seems like the tavern has been working hard and rolled out a major update called "Recipes and Farming". So, unpack your apron, we have a lot to do!
The big update
So, what does this update bring us? Well, it adds two new areas and we get dozens of new crops and over 100 recipes. That sounds like a lot of work for us aspiring innkeepers! But don't worry, it's a lot of fun.
Farming and Cooking
We now have 32 new crops available for cultivation. The game's farming system has been completely revamped. Crops need to be planted in specific seasons and regularly watered. But don't worry, if you have fruit trees, they don't require manual watering and won't die, although they only bear fruit in certain seasons.
And then there are the 100 new recipes. You can acquire them by exchanging recipe fragments at the mysterious northern temple in town. With an improved reputation, you can create a variety of new drinks and dishes. And to assist you, there are two new crafting devices: a canning table and a press.
New Areas and Weather Phenomena
There are two new areas to explore, located north of your tavern. And as if that wasn't enough, they have also introduced weather phenomena! Different weather conditions can occur and have an impact on your crops and animals.
