With Mistlands, Valheim is now expanding to the misty lands. The new biome is available to you as a beta version. Here's a summary of what to expect.
Although the Viking survival game Valheim captivated millions of players on Steam at release in 2021, the sporadic and slowly following updates have only maintained the high player numbers for a short time. But that doesn't stop the developers from tinkering with more biomes, complete with new enemies, resources, and gameplay mechanics.
As a publicly accessible beta version, you can now play the new update by going to Steam, right-clicking on your library, selecting Valheim, choosing Settings, and in the window that opens, Betas. Enter the code yesimadebackups at the bottom, then you should be able to select and download the beta version. Or choose "Previews" in the Xbox Insider Hub app and search for the Valheim Public Test. You can then join the test and register. After that you should be redirected to the store and you can install the game.
