The Second DLC Wave for Vampire Survivors
"Tides of the Foscari" is the second DLC wave for Vampire Survivors and brings eight new characters to the game that you can unlock by completing certain tasks. In addition to the new area "Lake of Fascari", you have the opportunity to change up your experience with these new characters in the fight against waves of enemies. But be careful: many of these characters must be unlocked with coins, so save up some gold first!
New Heroes and How to Obtain Them
The new heroes will only appear on the character selection screen once you have achieved a certain goal. These characters must then be purchased with gold coins, but only before starting a new run in this rogue-like game. Starting items like the Golden Egg work seamlessly with these characters, just like with the 30 other heroes from the main game.
Character Requirements and Tips
While Sammy and Rottin' Ghoul are relatively easy to unlock, Je-Ne-Viv's requirements can be overwhelming for some players. One simple method to defeat enemies in a single run is to choose a good grinding weapon, such as the Clock Lancet and the Infinite Corridor.
To upgrade equipment for Keitha Muort and Maruto Cuts' conditions, players must also find the Legionnaire and SpellStorm in a treasure chest dropped by a mini-boss after they have maximized the right equipment.
Destroying Seals for New Characters
Both the Seal of the Abyss and the Seal of the Banished, which must be destroyed, can only be broken by fully upgraded weapons from characters. While the Seal of the Abyss can only be destroyed by Maruto's Legionnaire, the Seal of the Banished can be broken by tools from any character, such as the Prismatic Missile.
Players should note that they will still need to spend a lot of gold on these new characters once they have figured out how to unlock them in the Tides of the Foscari DLC of Vampire Survivors. So, grab your weapons and get ready for the adventure!
