Welcome to Vondel's Art District
In the new season 04 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), you can expect an exciting new multiplayer map called Vondel's Art District. This map is located west of the museum and across from the stadium and police station. It is small to medium-sized and offers numerous opportunities for action-packed battles in a classic three-lane layout.
The map is divided into four main areas:
- Canal
- Residential Area
- Shops
- Parkside
Many Paths to Victory
Vondel's Art District offers many small indoor areas where you can move freely. This opens up numerous paths through the main streets and opportunities for close, medium, and long-range combat alike. The many ways to move around and the different game modes ensure that no match is the same.
Tips for playing on the Vondel Art District Map
Here are some tips that can help you take out your opponents on the new multiplayer map:
- Move horizontally between the three main combat lanes.
- Use indoor spaces to spy on and take out enemies.
- Watch out for ground-based attacks like Claymores or mines when traversing the paths.
- Be prepared to fight indoors when air strikes force players to seek cover.
- Use vehicles and cover to protect yourself from long-range opponents.
In Domination matches, be aware that tight team cohesion can lead to being surrounded. In Search & Destroy, players should be especially cautious as snipers can use the map's long sightlines to take out opponents early. In Hardpoint, it's important to use the various paths to the objective to divide the enemy's attention.
