The German Navy is celebrating its 175th anniversary and War Thunder is not one to miss out on the occasion! Two historic German destroyers available for purchase
In honor of the history of the German Navy, two destroyers from the Second World War era are available for purchase with Golden Eagles: the T31 and the Z20 Karl Galster. These two ships offer their captains unique abilities and advantages in battle.
The T31 - Robustness and Firepower
The T31 is a robust ship that stands out mainly for its fast-firing main caliber guns. Thanks to these weapons, it often emerges as the winner in small and medium-sized battles. Its shells can easily destroy internal modules of enemy ships and often cause ammunition depots to explode.
The Z20 Karl Galster - Agility and Speed
The Z-20 Karl Galster, on the other hand, is quite thin and surprisingly agile for a destroyer. In AB mode, it reaches an impressive top speed of 86 km/h! Its guns reload quickly, and its 37mm anti-aircraft guns are fully automatic - unlike many other German ships.
Earn the "Emblem of the German Navy Headquarters" badge
From June 15 (12:00 GMT) to June 19 (07:00 GMT), players have the opportunity to earn the "Emblem of the German Navy Headquarters" badge. To earn this coveted badge, three battles must be completed with German ships of rank III or higher - of course with a minimum activity of 70%. The task can be completed in random battles, with the exception of Enduring Confrontation missions and the [Assault] mode.
You can track your progress in the hangar under Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → German Navy Day. The badge can be found in the "Customization" menu under the "Holidays" tab.
