The KF41 rolls into battle
Great news for all tank fans out there! The War Thunder update "Sons of Attila" expands the game with a real highlight - the KF41. This modern infantry fighting vehicle, developed by Rheinmetall, will soon make its debut in War Thunder and is ready to make its opponents sweat.
The KF41 is currently in service with the Hungarian Armed Forces and is one of the most innovative tracked combat vehicles on the market. With a deadly 30mm automatic cannon, Spike-LR ATGMs, and an active protection system, it's an opponent you don't want to underestimate.
KF41 Equipment
The main armament of the KF41 consists of a 30mm MK 30-2/ABM automatic cannon, which may already be familiar to some tank commanders from the German Puma IFV. Additionally, it is equipped with a Spike-LR missile launcher and a pair of machine guns to round out its arsenal.
Mobility and Protection Mechanisms
Despite its heavy armament, the KF41 retains the characteristic features of an infantry fighting vehicle. Its mobility is impressive, reaching speeds of up to 75 km/h under ideal conditions.
But the KF41 also offers a lot in terms of protection. Its additional Rheinmetall ADS active protection system can effectively destroy incoming missiles, while the steel armor protects the vehicle from automatic cannons and shrapnel.
Upcoming "Sons of Attila" Update
The KF41 will be introduced in the upcoming major "Sons of Attila" update in War Thunder, forming the centerpiece of the new Hungarian ground forces sub-branch.
