The Pages of History in War Thunder
Have you ever wished to experience a piece of history up close? In War Thunder, that is now possible. In October, you can find yourself on the "Pages of History" and fight on numerous fronts, from Hungary and the Netherlands to Israel and the Solomon Islands. Not only do you participate in historical battles, but you also use vehicles that were actually used in these events. And the best part? Attractive prizes await you with each completed task!
How does it work?
From October 1st to October 31st, you will be given eight tasks one after another. For each completed task, you will receive a trophy, and if you master all the tasks, a unique player icon awaits you. The icon features John Basilone, a Sergeant of the US Marine Corps, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during the Battle of Henderson Field on Guadalcanal.
What rewards are there?
With each completed task, you will receive a trophy that grants you one of several rewards. These include RP and SL boosters, universal backup vehicles, premium accounts, and even random camouflage patterns for ground vehicles.
The historical battles
As part of the "Pages of History" event, you can participate in a series of historical battles. These include the Battle of the Scheldt, the Valley of Tears, the Orsha Offensive, the Battle of the Chinese Farm, the Tikhvin Defense Operation, the Second Battle of El Alamein, the Battle of Henderson Field, and the Budapest Operation.
The best part is that these tasks can be completed in random War Thunder battles - except for the "Assault" mode. This means you can simply dive into the action and grab some great prizes along the way!
