The T-90M is coming to War Thunder

Get ready for the next big update in War Thunder! With the update, one of the first ground vehicles of the brand new Rank VIII category will be introduced - the T-90M. This state-of-the-art representative of the T-90 family is part of the "Breakthrough" modernization program.

Meet the T-90M!

The fantastic new variant of the T-90, the T-90M, will be added to the Rank VIII of the Soviet ground forces tree in the next major update of War Thunder. The T-90M features a new welded turret with integrated modular ERA and a new fire control system.

The new turret design

The most noticeable change on the T-90M is its new turret. It has an extended overhang at the rear, which houses a selection of ammunition. This increases the survivability of the T-90M against frontal penetrations.

Protection through Relikt ERA

The T-90M is equipped with the reactive protection system Relikt ERA, which is distributed over the sides and front of the turret, as well as the upper front plate. This helps you withstand additional hits from ATGMs.

Weapons and mobility

The T-90M inherits its weapons from the T-90A: a 125mm smoothbore gun capable of firing various types of ammunition, including ATGMs. Thanks to a new engine, the tank's mobility remains high despite the increased weight.
