Celebrating a Milestone for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
Hey, gamers! Have you heard the news? Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is celebrating its first anniversary! And just like any good party, there are gifts involved. No, not for the birthday boy, but for us players! Developer Fatshark is treating us to a two-part free update called "The Traitor Curse," which brings additional content and improvements.

So, what can you expect? In the second part of the update, new consumables called Stimms are introduced. These can aid you in your battle against the heretics. Quartermaster Brunt is introducing new weapon brands, and a new mission called Warren 6-19 is ready for exploration.
Review of The Traitor Curse Part I
You might have missed it: The first part of "The Traitor Curse" was released on November 14, 2023. It introduced new film sequences, a new zone & mission, as well as the inspection feature and an update to the veteran talent tree.
New consumables and weapon brands
The new stimms are an interesting addition that expands the gameplay. There are four different stimms that can give you various advantages in combat. With the stimms, you can, for example, restore your health, increase damage, boost your speed, or accelerate cooldown regeneration.
But the new weapon brands from Quartermaster Brunt are also a great addition to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Among them are the foldable Munitorum Mk III Sapper Shovel and the Agripinaa Mk XIV Quickdraw Stub Revolver with its fan technique.
New mission: Warren 6-19
Ready for a new adventure? Then explore the back alleys of the carnival and fight against Moebian's production facilities in the new mission Warren 6-19. But be careful: The Karnak Twins have been spotted ambushing strike teams in Tertium.
Veteran talent tree and quality of life
Based on player feedback, Fatshark has adjusted the veteran talent tree to make the keystones more easily attainable. Additionally, there have been various fixes and improvements to make the gaming experience even more enjoyable. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is now even more fun!
