Welcome to Wartales Update 1.0
Have you heard the news? The Update 1.0 for Wartales is finally here and it brings a lot of new content and improvements! Let's take a look at what the developers at Shiro Games have in store for us.
New regions and expanded storyline
The world of Wartales just got bigger! With the Update 1.0, a new region called Alazar is added to the game. It is located south of the Kingdom of Drombach and is known for its icy mountains and wind-swept plateaus. But beware: a new plague is raging in these lands. The Inquisition has been sent out to find out what has triggered the divine wrath.
Complete English Voiceover
From now on, the entire game is fully voiced in English. Immerse yourself even deeper into the world of Wartales and enjoy the enhanced atmosphere thanks to the voiceover.
New Content and Units
Update 1.0 adds a variety of new content, such as new confessions, achievements, and even the ability to bury fallen companions. Additionally, new arena battles, a new tomb of the ancients, and new enemies like snow wolves and bears await you.
Improvements for Companions and Camp Life
The level cap for units has been increased to 12, and for enemies to 14. New abilities have been added for level 12, and animals can now also choose new talents. When resting by the campfire, you can obtain charcoal by burning wood. Hemp has been added as a new ingredient: craft ropes or new recipes!
Arenas, Tombs of the Ancients, and Rouste Tournament
Old arenas have been revamped, and there is now a harder mode for players looking for a challenge. Discover the new tomb of the ancients in Vertruse and participate in the Rouste tournament! The rules of Rouste have changed: you now play with two balls for twice the fun and chaos.
New Professions and Improvements
The way experience points are earned in professions has been revised, some trade bonuses have also been adjusted, and new recipes have been added for each profession. Lumberjack is now a new profession that any companion can learn. This profession has its own attributes, bonuses, and backpack accessories.
Graphic and Balancing Improvements
The entire appearance of the game has been greatly improved and optimized. Backpacks now evolve with your equipment, there are new customization options like new faces or beards, as well as new combat and camp maps. The amount of experience points needed to reach the highest levels has been reduced.
Bug Fixes & More
Many bugs have been fixed and many other changes have been made: the rarity of some items has changed, new items have been added, and some abilities and weapons have been adjusted.
