New Watch Dogs from Ubisoft
Watch Dogs 1 and Watch Dogs 2 were titles that had great expectations attached to them. In practice, they fell a little short of these expectations of the gaming community. But Ubisoft has not given up yet and wants to breathe new life into the series with Watch Dogs Legion. The open-world adventure will get single-player and multiplayer content and play in a dystopian London after the UK's withdrawal from the EU. That sounds interesting.
Chaotic setting and many digital elements in the game world
That the Watch Dogs Games are about hackers, cell phones, surveillance cameras and digital components is nothing new. In Watch Dogs Legion, the hacker collective Dedsec is trying to establish itself again. The player can slip into different roles to pursue his goals. The developers are again relying on the third-person perspective. Each figure will have its own abilities and be able to set priorities using a skill tree. Since - especially in multiplayer - teamwork is required, this makes sense. As far as is known, there are at least three different classes. Hackers, burglars and attackers have been announced so far.
Release date postponed
The originally planned release date for Watch Dogs Legion was postponed to the second half of 2020. On the one hand, that's a shame, but on the other hand, the fans would be happy if they got a finished game that didn't need to be patched for a long time. Ubisoft promises 5 storylines and about 60 different missions. The title will be released for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Google's gaming service Stadia will also be taken into account. So we can look forward to the finished game.
