We The People - The Nerve-Wracking Extraction Shooter

"We The People": A New Competitor for "Escape From Tarkov"?

"We The People" seems to have high ambitions. This hardcore, tactical extraction shooter combines the nerve-wracking high-stakes runs of FPS games like "Escape From Tarkov" and "Call of Duty Warzone 2" with realistic shooting physics and the open-world zombie survival of "DayZ". The game is developed by Small Indie Company, a team consisting of military veterans. Their goal? To create something "incredibly ambitious" with the help of their community.

The gameplay of "We The People" is based on open maps with multiple access and exit points. This allows players or groups to infiltrate the battlefield, explore, find loot, and successfully extract in various ways. There is a special focus on verticality - both upwards and downwards. Underground research facilities and installations offer enormous potential gains.

What makes "We The People" unique?

One of the unique features of this game is the integration of management within the game world itself. Instead of navigating menus between rounds, players find themselves in an actual settlement. Here, they can replenish equipment and supplies or even upgrade their hideout.

On the other hand, a major focus is placed on realistic bullet physics. Currently, the team has implemented data for 12 different types of projectiles, with another 28 calibers being explored for future updates.

Infinite Loadout Possibilities

"We The People" promises its players "almost infinite loadout possibilities". Thanks to various exfiltration options, players can exit the game more quietly than usual - provided they have the necessary items at their disposal.

The team also has great ambitions for mechanics such as bullet deflection and ricochets, although they acknowledge that these may take some time to implement.

Future Outlook

After receiving a positive initial response to the technical demo during the Steam Next Fest, Small Indie Company has laid out a roadmap for the future. The Early Access version will even include an arena mode.

It all sounds very ambitious and poses a challenge to compete against heavyweights like Tarkov and Warzone. But the team at Small Indie Company seems determined to give it their all. You can secure a key for We The People here.
