Hey hunters, it's time to prepare for the new Wildcard Contract in Hunt Showdown! Update 1.12.1 brings an exciting change to the game that will make your hunting experience even more intense.
As mentioned in the patch notes, there will be a special event this coming weekend (Friday, 21st - Monday, 24th) that will focus on the Wildcard Contract. Here's everything you need to know about this event!
Details about the upcoming weekend event
The event will start on Friday, the 21st, at 07:00 UTC and will end on Monday, the 24th, also at 07:00 UTC.
During the event, there will be two types of contracts: the standard contract and the wildcard contract. The standard contract consists of random missions without the "Night" time of day, and there is no additional bonus for a successful extraction.
The Wildcard Contract
The wildcard contract, on the other hand, offers post-missions with a boss objective that is randomly selected. For each successful token extraction, there is a bonus of +300 bounty! However, the wildcard contract will only have one queue option set to trios. This means that solo, duo, and trio players will all land in the same matchmaking pool.
Back to the standard contract on Monday morning
After the event, Hunt Showdown will return to the single standard contract on Monday morning, and the "Night" time of day will be added back into the rotation.
