Wildlands - Redefining Wilderness Survival

Hey gamers, have you heard of Wildlands yet? It's the new survival game on Steam from the creative minds at Ahsen Games. And I have to say, it looks pretty promising. Imagine a mix of Ark and The Forest, but without the dinosaurs and cannibals. Sounds exciting? Then keep on reading.

Wildlands puts you right in the middle of a beautiful yet dangerous wilderness. You can play alone or with friends and try to not only survive, but also thrive among the wildlife. It offers all the essential components for great survival experiences, from endless exploration to crafting.

Animal Conservation with a Twist - Taming Over 65 Species

One particularly cool feature in Wildlands is the ability to tame animals. With over 65 species from around the world, you have a huge selection to choose from. You can fight alongside the animals, use them as pack animals, or even ride on their backs. And to accommodate all these different species, there are 14 separate biomes.

Character Customization and Exploration

Ahsen Games has also developed a character customization system that allows you to create your character according to your preferences. Once you've created your character, you can explore a variety of caves, ruins, sunken ships, and temples. The world is full of hidden places and secrets, with natural resources to collect and utilize.

Advanced Gameplay Elements

In addition to the classic survival gameplay, Wildlands also offers some advanced elements such as an RPG-like progression system and extensive options for customizing your home. So, you can not only focus on pure survival, but also build your own kingdom in the wilderness.

Outlook and Conclusion

Wildlands looks very promising, and personally, I can't wait to play it myself. I'm particularly excited about the more relaxed aspects of the game, such as building an automated greenhouse or designing my own home. So, stay tuned and keep an eye on Wildlands. It could be the next big thing in the world of survival games.
