Windblown - The Hyperactive 3D Brothers from Dead Cells

Surprise Trailer at the Game Awards 2023

Motion Twin, the studio behind the popular game Dead Cells, unveiled a surprise trailer for their new game during the Game Awards 2023. In this action-packed roguelite called Windblown, players can expect an electrifying adventure. Motion Twin describes it as the "hyperactive, sugar-infused 3D sibling of Dead Cells".

What can we expect in Windblown?

In Windblown, players take on the role of "Leapers", warriors who fight to protect their home, The Ark, from the gigantic and deadly Vortex and its Sentinel Minions. They race through stunning open stages like a bolt of lightning, uncovering new secrets with each run.

A faster and more action-packed rogue-lite

Dead Cells is a popular rogue-lite game inspired by Metroidvania platformers. While the Windblown trailer shares many similarities with Dead Cells, it seems to be even faster and filled with high-octane action. It definitely won't be boring!

Preparing for Early Access launch

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a while longer before we can experience Windblown in all its glory. The Early Access launch is scheduled for early 2024. But hey, anticipation is the greatest joy, right? In the meantime, you can pass the time with other roguelike and roguelite games.
