Trompo Games' newest game, Windswept, takes us on a grand journey with a duck and a turtle. The game was inspired by the classic platformers of the 90s and promises a unique experience with a mix of fun and adventure.
Duck and Turtle
The game lets the player switch between the Duck and the Turtle, both of which have their own abilities and combos they can perform together. The game can also be played in local co-op mode, where one player can control both characters.
More than 40 handcrafted levels across five regions
The Duck and Turtle must navigate a huge world with five different regions, going through more than 40 handcrafted levels. Each level is full of secrets and collectibles to discover. There's also a post-game challenge mode that might even take place on the moon.
Modern pixel art design with personality
The game presents itself in a modern pixel art design with plenty of personality. The characters are full of charm, from grumpy mustached octopuses to angry bees that are also knights. The Duck even flaps its wings when running, which is just adorable.
Demo now available, Kickstarter campaign in the works
The game's demo is currently available to play on Steam. The game is set to release later this year and a Kickstarter campaign is in the works. Windswept is a game for everyone who loves classic platformers and is ready for a new adventure.
