The End of Rank Battles in World of Tanks
Commanders, it's time for an important announcement: Rank Battles in World of Tanks will be discontinued with the next update. This means that the Rank Battles table will no longer be available on the website or in the game, and all access points to the mode will be deactivated.
The reason for this decision is the introduction of the Onslaught competitive mode, which has been offering many new features and gameplay mechanics since last year. As Onslaught is continuously being developed, Rank Battles no longer fit the current competitive format of World of Tanks.
Focus on Onslaught Mode
As ranked battles are being discontinued, the focus will now shift to the Onslaught mode. The World of Tanks development team is currently working on the next Onslaught season, which is set to begin in the fall of 2023. The new season will include qualification battles and further improvements.
Ranked Battles Store: Access Exclusive Items
With the discontinuation of ranked battles, the Ranked Battles Store and all the exclusive items it contains will no longer be available. However, the developers are considering how to integrate the store with the Onslaught mode so that you can still access it. They plan to introduce a new discount system and make the 114 SP2, a Chinese reward tank destroyer of tier X, available in the mode's store for bonds.
Claim Your Rewards!
Before the next update is released, be sure to take advantage of your personal cumulative discount and purchase unique items while you still can! Seasonal rewards for your league status, such as badges and customization elements, will be removed and disappear with the next update. However, the performance engraving for your dog tag and the Ranked Charge Progressive Decal will remain with you permanently.
If you haven't yet claimed your annual reward, you can still do so before the next update. Depending on the number of earned rank marks, you can choose one, two, or three different improved (bond) equipment items. But hurry, time is running out!
Looking Ahead: Onslaught Mode
The World of Tanks development team thanks all players who participated in ranked battles and greatly appreciates their time, passion, and dedication! The future lies in the Onslaught mode, which is now the team's focus. Good luck on the battlefield, commanders!
