Dragon customization in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight
In World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, many players fly on dragons through the Dragon Isles. To stand out from the crowd, it's a good idea to customize your dragon mount. In this guide, you'll learn how to create the perfect dragon and unlock new appearances.
Visit the Transmogrification Rostrum
To customize your dragon in WoW Dragonflight, you'll need to visit a Transmogrification Rostrum. Right-clicking on it opens a menu similar to the Barber Shop and character creation screen. Here, you can personalize all of your dragon mounts with the unlocked or purchased appearances to your liking.
How Dragon Customization Works
You can preview unreleased appearances on this screen by hovering over them with your mouse. Once you've selected your favorite colors, features, and decorations, clicking "Accept" will change the appearance of your dragon the next time you summon it.
Where to Find Transmutation Rostrums
The main Transmutation Rostrum is located in Valdrakken on a platform overlooking the Artisan's Market. For TomTom users, the coordinates are 25.02 and 50.81.

These allow you to permanently unlock new customization options for your dragon. Most main options (such as colors and armor) can be purchased from faction vendors once you reach a certain reputation level. However, note that each customization option is tied to a specific type of dragon.

Epic Drakewatcher Manuscripts, also known as Full Transformations, give your dragon a unique appearance that cannot be further customized. An example is the Storm Devourer transformation of the Renewed Proto-Drake, which has a low chance of dropping from the raid boss Raszageth.
