Explosive Affix removed in World of Warcraft
The infamous Explosive Affix, which has been a source of frustration for many players in high-level Mythic+ dungeons in World of Warcraft, will be removed in the upcoming season of WoW Dragonflight. But don't worry, it will be replaced by another affix - Volcanic. This should make the dungeon experience a bit more pleasant.
Other changes to the affixes
In addition to the removal of the Explosive Affix, there are other adjustments being made to the affixes. Blizzard wants to reduce the impact of the affixes on Mythic+ dungeon gameplay and assign the most challenging affixes to later key levels. This includes shifting periodic affixes to level 7 instead of 14 and adjusting affixes that trigger on death or health thresholds to level 14 instead of 7.

Changes to periodic and death/health affixes
Blizzard plans to add periodic affixes such as Incorporeal and Storming at Keystone Level 7 instead of 14. This means that these affixes will appear earlier in the game. On the other hand, affixes such as Spiteful and Sanguine, which are triggered upon death or certain health thresholds, will now be introduced at Keystone Level 14 instead of 7. This decision is intended to help scale the difficulty of later dungeon keys more effectively.
