In the Reddit for Xbox Cloud Gaming, an Xbox employee made an announcement. In it, some performance improvements for Xbox Cloud Gaming for Linux and ChromeOS were announced. He promised higher resolution than before and a smoother streaming experience.
Jordan Cohen on Reddit: "Hello everyone! We've just released a series of performance improvements for Xbox Cloud Gaming for players who play through the browser on Linux and ChromeOS devices. You can expect a higher resolution and a smoother streaming experience.
These changes are also the culmination of a long journey where we've switched our browser gaming experience to another streaming technology. You should now have a more consistent experience in the browser, regardless of which device you're using."
Most importantly, this also means that Xbox Cloud Gaming on the Steam Deck is finally interesting. Steam is currently working hard on improvements for the Steam Deck and trying to place it on the market.
