Operator Balance
Operator balance is one of the main components of this patch. Some characters are receiving significant changes, while others are experiencing more minor adjustments. Let's take a closer look:
Frost
Frost has received some interesting updates. Welcome mats, also known as traps, now have additional mechanics. Operators who fall into these traps are incapacitated and can free themselves either on their own or with the help of a teammate. But be careful: If the trap is removed without assistance, there is a debuff with some pretty severe effects for 60 seconds!
Warden
Our good old Warden is also getting some adjustments. His armor rating is increased to 3 (from 2), while his speed is reduced to 1 (from 2). This will certainly change his playstyle!
Gridlock, Finka, and Iana
Gridlock, Finka, and Iana have not been forgotten either. Their equipment has been revised: Gridlock and Finka lose their Gonne-6 secondary weapon and instead receive fragmentation grenades, while Iana trades her fragmentation grenades for flash grenades and adds the Gonne-6.
Sens & Tachanka
The weapons of Sens and Tachanka have also been adjusted. Sens' POF-9 now has less vertical and horizontal recoil, as well as reduced recoil increase after long bursts. Tachanka's DP27, on the other hand, receives a damage boost to 60 (from 49).
Improvements & Bug Fixes
Of course, patch notes would not be complete without bug fixes and improvements. One highlight here is the introduction of cross-save functionality, which shares parts of the player profile across all platforms.
The developers have also fixed a number of issues, including inconsistent detection of gadget deployment on reinforced walls, some level design problems, and audio overlaps during the kill cam.
