Welcome to Patch 1.3 of Zenith: The Last City

Friends, get ready to put on your VR headsets! The biggest patch yet for Zenith: The Last City has arrived, bringing a wealth of new content and improvements to the game. Patch 1.3, also known as Skyward Summit, introduces a brand new class, a new game zone, a revamped physics system, and much more! Let's take a closer look at the key updates.

The Patch Highlights

Patch 1.3 offers exciting content and systems for players of all levels:

  • The introduction of Zenith's third class: the Cyber Ninja!
  • A brand new area to explore - Skyland - filled with new quests, enemy types, events, and more.

New Features and Systems in Patch 1.3

Patch 1.3 brings some impressive new features to the game, including:

  1. Cyber Ninja - The new playable class is a fusion of magic and technology, aimed at taking out enemies with stealth and precision.
  2. New Life Skills (available in Skyland) - Mine ores and chop wood in Skyland, as well as craft armor and weapons.
  3. PvP - Challenge other Zenitheans to compete against each other in various game modes!
  4. Player Housing - Buy and decorate your own home in Zenith. Invite friends, host a party, or paint the walls!
  5. Combat Updates - Improvements in gameplay with dodging, crouching, blocking, etc.
  6. New Immersive Physics System - The old physics system has been completely replaced with a new one! This includes better hand poses, finger tracking improvements, better ziplines, two-handed interactions, and more.

New Content in Patch 1.3

Update 1.3 introduces the floating island of Skyland, which features mysterious advanced technology and new monsters. Additionally, Cyber Ninjas receive new armor and weapon sets.

Issue Fixes and Known Bugs

Several bug fixes and optimizations have been made, including improvements in performance and stability, as well as fixes to issues with skills, quests, and user interface. However, there are some known issues that the development team is still working on:

  • Virtual Desktop is currently not working with the Oculus version of Zenith.
  • Some players on Oculus Desktop may not see loading screens.
  • Not all enemies outside of Skyland will have Kama Cadence patterns.
  • Tutorial videos in Outlaw Grove are currently disabled.
