The transparent backplates of the Steam Deck have drawn a lot of attention from the start, and now accessory maker JSAUX is expanding its color selection. Starting February 27th, there will be five new colors available, including Crystal, Purple, Red, Blue, and Green. The price for the new colors remains at $30, and the kit will come with additional paddle buttons, screws, and a screwdriver.
An Expansion from JSAUX
JSAUX is renowned for its high-quality and reliable accessories, and the transparent backplates are no exception. Before this latest update, there was only one brown color variant. The ability to choose from different colors gives Steam Deck users more freedom to personalize their device.
No Plans for a Steam Deck Successor
The Steam Deck has been on the market for almost a year and has received several revisions and updates from Valve. Despite the popularity of the portable system, Valve has yet to announce any plans for a successor.
A Change of Order is Possible
The new colors will be available on the JSAUX website from February 27th. Customers who have already placed an order can change their order and choose one of the new colors. With this expansion of color options, the Steam Deck remains one of the most versatile and personalized portable consoles on the market.
